Jamaican Senate Says Yes To Weed Smoking Day

Rumors are that Jamaican Senate passed a bill to decriminalize marijuana for medical, religious and scientific purposes. The bill, which would amend the country’s Dangerous Drugs Act, would reduce possession of two ounces or less of marijuana for personal use to a ticketable offense, rather than a criminal one. Cultivation of up to five plants would be permitted. Under current Jamaican law, marijuana possession charges can lead to as much as five years in prison and a fine.

Jamaica took one step closer to decriminalizing marijuana and it couldn’t have happened on a more fitting day — the birthday of Jamaican reggae superstar Bob Marley, whose public embrace of cannabis made him nearly synonymous with the culture of the plant.

Registered health professionals would also be able to prescribe cannabis for various ailments, and accredited institutions could conduct scientific research with the plant. For the first time, Rastafarians — members of a spiritual movement founded on the island that sees cannabis use as a sacrament — would be able to legally smoke the substance for religious purposes.

“The objective is to provide a more enlightened approach to dealing with possession of small quantities and smoking, while still meeting the ends of justice,” wrote Jamaican Minister of Justice Mark Goldberg when he announced the measure last year. “The proposed changes represent an approach which will enure to the benefit of the persons concerned and the society as a whole, and reduce the burdens on the court system.”

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto officially published a bill that makes medical marijuana available and legal in Mexico. The historic change in policy for this critical Latin American nation marks another country that has welcomed cannabis as an important tool for healing the sick.

On Friday, April 28, Mexico’s lower house in parliament overwhelmingly passed the bill with a 374-7 vote. It was then up to the leader of the country to officially sign and turn it into law, which the President finally executed today.

The recent passing of the bill in parliament was publicly endorsed by Mexico’s Secretary of Health, Dr. José Narro Robles, who stated: “I welcome the adoption of the therapeutic use of cannabis in Mexico.”

Since When Did Smoking Marijuana Start Causing Health Problems

Every since loud, and Government produced Marijuana hit the streets, it has become a epidemic like Crack. I was born in the early 80's and we have never had a problem with Marijuana until now.

Recently: Marijuana ER Visits Spike

Researchers reported that emergency departments across the state saw a sharp spike in marijuana-related visits after recreational use of pot products was made legal.

I'm not trying to say that this is something that's being pushed by a higher power, but people need to open there eyes up.

While nearly 11 percent of emergency visits were attributable to edible marijuana, only 0.32 percent of total marijuana sales in the state were for edible products. Emergency department visits for psychiatric events and cardiovascular symptoms were more likely to be due to edible marijuana than inhaled marijuana.

They said that the slower rate of absorption of THC in edible products compared with inhalable products makes it harder for users of edible cannabis to gauge the doses required to get the desired high.

Future research into the effects of marijuana should focus on THC and cannabinoid content, how it's taken, doses consumed, sex, age, body mass index, and the medical conditions for which it might be prescribed.

Marijuana Experiment Blows Up

Anthony Gambale, 19, and girlfriend Gabriella Katanov, 17, were critically injured with second- and third-degree burns at 2:20 a.m. inside a Marine Parkway garage in Brooklyn, police said. The massive blast occurred when one of the couple lit a cigarette while trying to evaporate off the gas.

The explosion rocked the sleeping residential neighborhood and sent the garage up in flames. Gambale and Gabriella were rushed to Staten Island University Hospital, where they remain in serious condition. “Their lungs are good . . . but from the waist up, all burned. Her hands, too. She could be in the hospital for a year. She needs surgery. The doctors said it will get worse every day.”

Cops found a “large amount” of marijuana, including pot plants, plastic storage containers, plastic tabs, coffee filters, glass pans and butane. The couple had filled a blue 30-gallon tub with cannabis and covered it in butane.

Should El Chapo Be Locked Up In America?

What is the true reason El Chapo is locked up? Is it because he created a Government of his own just like America. If we sell cannabis to get ahead, what did El Chapo do that was different than the Government?

El Chapo owned fields of marijuana plants, so do the Government of the United States. El Chapo pretty much took over Mexico just like America was taken. On top of that, if America had prisoners out of their border, they would fight to get them back. So why is El Chapo in America?

The border wall is only one way to keep the trafficking out so big business in America can control the drug trade. You slow down pounds of marijuana from Mexico, you control the market. It's physics.

But, El Chapo did have his dealing in large quantities of cocaine to the U.S. off the coast of California. In the meantime, they appear to be taking extraordinary measures to prevent a third escape. El Chapo cartel mastermind revealed as ghost crime boss who has never been locked up. So how did he escape the first two times?

El Chapo was born in the rugged mountains of the Sierra Madre, where he grew up in abject poverty before becoming one of the most powerful figures in the Sinaloa cartel. A US attorney says Joaquin Guzman is known for "death and destruction." Federal prosecutors in Brooklyn have charged the world's biggest drug lord with 12 murders.

El Chapo earned a percentage of his business and was soon the top drug producer in Mexico. At his height, his Sinaloa Cartel was said to have been responsible for about half of the meth, heroin, coke, and weed being smuggled into America.

After the FED arrested Juan Guzman, now America has control of his accounts. El Chapo was induced with a chemical truth serum while undergoing hypnosis by the CIA/DEA. How do you think they get suspected murderers to volunteer info of their crimes?

Why isn't El Chapo locked up in his own Country? Why is he here. He is Big Business as if he was the President of the U.S.
