Who Are The Worst Rappers of All Time?

The "Greatest Rapper of All Time" title is one of the most prestigious monikers in the history of hip hop; it's also one of the most debated. In terms of innovation, there's no denying the importance of Rakim.

When it comes to achieving commercial success during a pivotal time in the genre's infancy during the 1980s, names such as LL Cool and Run DMC are also mentioned among the best ever. When it comes to wordplay and storytelling, a strong argument can be made for emcees like Biggie, Big L, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar. On the flip side, if being a generation-defining artist who makes classic album after classic album was a part of the criteria, then rappers such as 2Pac, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne also could lay claim to the title as well. But what about the opposite side of the spectrum? Who's the worst rapper of all time? And furthermore, what's the criteria?

The RZA Confirms Season 2 Of ‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’

The RZA has confirmed a second season for Wu-Tang: An American Saga.

The Abbott came bearing good news regarding the Clan’s biographical drama series. In an exclusive interview with HipHopDX he said the show will return this fall. “American Saga will start airing in September,” he revealed. “That story will be complete for the season. Then I’m looking to get back in a director’s chair. I feel like that’s important for me to continue to tell our stories through cinema.” He went on to hint that production is still ongoing. “That’s going to take some time to develop a new script. But I’m having a great time finishing up the new season of American Saga.”

#Oldschool Ol' Dirty Bastard - Shimmy Shimmy Ya

Lets take a flashback in time when music was fun for everybody. "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" is the second single by Ol' Dirty Bastard, from the album Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version (1995).

It was produced by fellow Wu-Tang Clan member RZA. The song was ranked number 59 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop. The video shows a depiction of the 1970s, in which large afros and platform shoes were considered fashionable.

RZA Talks Second Chances and Cut Throat City Film

There calling him the leader of Wu-Tang Clan. RZA, or Bobby, as he is known to close friends and colleagues, had a particular way of putting beats to razer-sharp lyrics that made you feel part of a song’s creative process. Fans feel RZA’s music, both from Wu-Tang and his solo and collaborative efforts, on a cellular level.

An urban-bred intellectual who expresses through a mic or camera lens, RZA is considered prophetic to his community and perhaps a unicorn to mainstream culture. With a penchant for Eastern philosophy as is evident in the name Wu-Tang Clan and lyrical nods to Shaolin Kung Fu, RZA shared, “One thing I’m looking forward to doing in the near future… I’ve never been to India, and I have to check that one off,” referring to the top item on his bucket list. I recommended he connect with Indian author and yogi, Jaggi Vasudev, also known as Sadhguru, when he makes the trip. RZA is so well-read and well-versed, it felt novel giving him someone and something beyond his scope to Google.

#Stream #Throwback #Album Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele

The Wu-Tang Clan had dominated the '90s both as a group and as individual artists -- thanks in no small part to Ghostface Killah, whose 1996 debut album Iroman is among the Wu-Tang's finest work -- but by the end of that decade, there were serious doubts in the hip hop community that the group had anything left to say. Ghostface wasn't giving up that easy, though.

He tapped the Wu-Tang's production mastermind RZA to helm about half the tracks on this 21-song album, and he matched the production with some of the best rapping of his career. It's a bolder, richer, more modern-sounding album than Ironman, and it helped the Wu come into the new decade swinging. Would they be the timeless group they are today had this album not saved them from becoming '90s relics? Maybe not.

RZA and GZA of Wu-Tang Talk 'The Game Of Life'

For as long as the two leaders of the Wu-Tang Clan have known each other, it still shocks GZA that he never played chess with RZA as a kid.

The pair are busy practicing this week for their Twitch debut on Saturday, where they will play and compete in a chess tournament hosted by Chess.com and Hennessy. It’s to benefit Black, Latinx and Asian small businesses struggling with the pandemic. GZA says he still remembers vividly to this day when his cousin taught his 9-year-old self how to play chess.

“I guess I remember it well because he had a black and red checkerboard, but the pieces were like clear plastic neon,” GZA tells The Washington Post in a video interview, who said he never forgot the lesson. “And they were weird colored, and they were caked in green. And he showed me the names of the pieces and how they moved.”

The Story Of Wu-Tang Clan

In the summer of 1993, the Wu-Tang Clan emerged from the slums of Staten Island and took the hip-hop world by storm. Their legacy spanned over a decade, garnering fans worldwide and generating sales in excess of $50 million.

Back in the day, Method Man used to be a cleaner at the Statue of Liberty. The symbolism feels apt because the story of the Staten Island hip-hop collective is the American dream as it should be written.

Wu-Tang Clan is an American hip hop group and collective formed in the New York City borough of Staten Island in 1992, originally composed of rapper-producer RZA and rappers GZA, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, and Masta Killa.

Many say that the best rapper in Wu is easily Ghostface Killah, yeah Method Man had a great voice but he has 1 great solo project, ODB is one of a kind but to say that he is the best rapper in the group isn't true, he definitely had the most presence.

Most of you may not know who Cappadonna is! Cappadonna (also known as Cappachino) was a member of the early stages of what was to become the Wu-Tang Clan, with RZA, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Ghostface Killah, and Raekwon. However, Cappadonna went to prison and was replaced by Method Man.

Cappadonna made his recording debut as an affiliate of the Wu-Tang Clan on Raekwon's hit single "Ice Cream". He was also a guest star, along with Raekwon, on Ghostface Killah's solo debut album, Ironman

Warrant Issued for Azealia Banks

Azealia Banks is in hot water with the legal system after missing a court date for her now-infamous boob biting case.

A bench warrant was issued for the rapper after she missed the court date because she was in France for Paris fashion week. Her camp claims she thought she was due in court on March 8th and not March 6th. “She was in France for Fashion week due to meetings and other social gatherings and was not able to arrange her flight in time to appear today. She apologizes and will apologize in person to the Court for missing her scheduled hearing. In addition, she attempted to appear via a New York Attorney and through a close family member. Ms. Banks will go to the department to remedy the situation as soon as possible. Again, she apologizes for the inconvenience that may have caused the Department,” read a statement from Banks’ entertainment lawyer.

Back in 2015, Banks was thrown in jail for allegedly biting a female nightclub bouncer on the boob because she didn’t recognize Azealia as a big celebrity. The incident took place at Up&Down nightclub when she was trying to get into a party. Witnesses told the NY Post that Banks threw a fit and started using racial slurs against the bouncer. Azealea was eventually let into the club but decided to come back for more and spit in the bouncer’s face for not knowing that she was going to be featured on Rihanna’s upcoming album. She was escorted out of the club but allegedly bit the bouncer's boob on the way out. Police arrested her for disorderly conduct and assault.

Banks is no stranger to controversy and made headlines last year for causing a huge commotion at a party at actor Russell Crowe’s apartment. The rapper apparently smashed a glass and threatened some of the guests. She was invited there by the RZA.
