Top 3 Restaurants In Minneapolis

The Wrap-Up Magazine.com has released the 3 best restaurants to eat in Minneapolis. Minneapolis offers several local dining options that are unmatched in the Midwest. First up on our list is the SIX15 Room restaurant. The SIX15 Room, located in the Grand Hotel, is not just a cocktail bar. Although the drinks are excellent, SIX15 also provides a gourmet menu with seasonal choices and locally sourced food.

Second on the Wrap-Up's list is George and the Dragon restaurant. Unpretentious casual pub in South Minneapolis. The atmosphere is great, and there is not a bad dish on the menu. Plus, the owner is known to chat with guests and ensure expectations are exceeded.

Last but not least is the La Belle Vie restaurant. The ambiance, the service, and the wine list exceed the expectations of the heavy prices at La Belle Vie. Perfect for a special occasion or date, La Belle Vie is the best French Cuisine in town.

New Memoir Reveals Prince ‘Cheated’ Bassist Out Of Millions

For Mark Brown, the head games began with a cold call from Prince in 1981. And they ended, six years later, with the bassist — rechristened BrownMark, by Prince — confident that the rock star had derailed him out of millions in songwriting royalties.

As related in BrownMark’s new memoir, “My Life in the Purple Kingdom” (University of Minnesota Press), playing with Prince was the best of times and the worst of times — often at the same time. Like when he was cast in the movie musical “Purple Rain.”

“I took drama classes, joined SAG and acted in the movie,” Brown, 58, told The Post. “Then all my scenes were cut. Prince came up with some lame excuse about having to make the movie shorter.”

Before the fast talk and subterfuge, there was that unexpected call. Brown, then 19, took it in the Minneapolis rec center where his funk band rehearsed. “The first thing that went through my mind was that it couldn’t be Prince,” Brown said. “It was surreal.”

Lil Boosie’s Daughter Rapping

+LIL BOOSIE daughter has been noticed in a new visual video titled "Education." “The media doesn’t report about Lil Boosie being a strong supporter of his kids getting a good education,” says the YouTube description on “Education,” a back to school pep talk from Iviona Hatch, Boosie’s “downright snappy” first child.

Ivi’s flow is eerily similar to her dad’s, and her hollered one-liners are candid: Take your time/ Focus on your attitude, I even gotta work on mine. Like “Hot Cheetos and Takis”, the adorable viral jam hatched from a Minneapolis after-school program, “Education” models positive behavior with a team, in this case, the anti-bullying U Hatin? University campaign, the same organization that posted this video recitation of a letter Boosie wrote in prison, telling kids “You can be better than me,” last year.

Even though Eastside Po was not mentioned in the article, he is next up on the rising artist list.

Were not saying that these are the best artist from Lima, Ohio, but I am noting that these are the artist who legacy will continue on through time.

In contrast with its East Coast, West Coast and Southern counterparts, Midwest hip hop has very few constants in style or production. Midwest hip hop's first dose of national popularity came in the mid-90s with the extremely fast-paced rappers known as Bone Thugs-n-Harmony (Cleveland), Twista (Chicago), Tech N9ne (Kansas City), Atmosphere (Minneapolis), and Eminem (Detroit).

But Ohio, in general, has a rich musical history that makes it one of the most important states when it comes to the evolution of sound in various genres. Everything from shock rock and industrial metal to funk and R&B developed in the Lima, Ohio area.
