See Jennifer Lopez In New ‘Marry Me’ Trailer

 


Jennifer Lopez is gearing up to return to her rom-com roots. The singer who took a dramatic turn in her acclaimed 2019 stripper drama Hustlers, plays fictional pop star Kat Valdez in the three-minute trailer for her upcoming flick Marry Me. The first-look clip that dropped on Thursday (Nov. 18) opens with a montage of a fabulous Valdez gearing up for a major tour — rehearsing her moves, sitting for photo shoots, walking the red carpet — as we hear a preview of what sounds like the singer/actress’ title track for the film slated to drop on Valentine’s Day 2022.

This is a movie I would have never watched without my wife exposing it to me. In the movie, a drag queen takes in a drug addict and her daughter and helps raise the daughter.


Holiday Heart is a 2000 television film directed by Robert Townsend and starring Ving Rhames, Alfre Woodard, Jesika Reynolds, and Mykelti Williamson. It aired on the cable TV channel Showtime, and was distributed on DVD by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.

Black Panther Makes 50 Best Action Movies of All Time List

 


Black Panther, John Wick, and The Matrix headline Rolling Stone‘s list of 50 Best Action Movies of All Time. The new list corrals sci-fi epic films, bullet bonanzas, kung fu classics, and superhero films into one super list.


The list is led by Mad Max: The Fury Road at the top slot with Die Hard, John Wick, The Raid: Redemption and Enter the Dragon rounding out the top 5. The Marvel film Black Panther takes the No. 9 slots and is one of two Marvel films to make the list, joining Avengers: Endgame.

The RZA Confirms Season 2 Of ‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’


The RZA has confirmed a second season for Wu-Tang: An American Saga. 


The Abbott came bearing good news regarding the Clan’s biographical drama series. In an exclusive interview with HipHopDX he said the show will return this fall. “American Saga will start airing in September,” he revealed. “That story will be complete for the season. Then I’m looking to get back in a director’s chair. I feel like that’s important for me to continue to tell our stories through cinema.” He went on to hint that production is still ongoing. “That’s going to take some time to develop a new script. But I’m having a great time finishing up the new season of American Saga.”

HBO‘s HBO Max streaming platform has launched a lower-price, ad-supported subscription tier. Priced at $9.99 USD a month as opposed to $14.99 USD a month for a standard subscription, the new plan allows viewers to get into the HBO network for a lower price, but doesn’t boast all the features of its higher-priced counterpart.

Omari Hardwick And Halle Berry To Star In Netflix Film ‘The Mothership’

 


Power and Army of the Dead (Netflix) star Omari Hardwick have joined Hollywood Diva Halle Berry, in The Mothership, a sci-fi adventure feature coming from MRC Film, Automatik, and Netflix.  


Written and directed by Matt Charman, best known for Bridge of Spies, the film sees Halle Berry portraying the role of Sara Morse, a woman picking up the pieces following the mysterious disappearance of her husband when she discovers an extraterrestrial object beneath her farmland home. Sara and her children race to decipher the connection between this strange object and her husband’s disappearance.

Rapper Lil Jon will star in a home renovation show on HGTV.


The show — “Lil Jon Wants To Do What?” — will follow the Atlanta hip hop artist as he “offers skeptical homeowners startlingly unconventional renovation ideas that seem impossible to execute,” according to a release.

Will Amazon Buy MGM Film Studio?

 


Amazon is reportedly in talks to buy MGM, the vaunted film studio that was a staple of Hollywood's Golden Age. A tie-up would give the tech firm a big brand to wield as competition in streaming grows fiercer by the day.


MGM's iconic logo of a roaring lion has played before tons of classic films, including the "James Bond" series, and the studio could be valued at between $7 billion and $10 billion.

'Mortal Kombat' will be #ComingSoon to #HBOMax and #theaters

 


Less than a month away from the official release of the highly-anticipated Mortal Kombat film, Warner Bros. has released yet another teaser trailer showing new action-packed footage between the story’s classic fighters.


The clip reveals that the film intends to maintain its heavy action fighting that the video games were made famous for. Fans can also expect a slew of characters that have debuted in the original arcade games, including Sonya, Kano, Mileena and Jax.
