Young Thug Wanted For Questioning

Former Young Thug collaborator Akbar V posted to Instagram over the weekend, with a video that allegedly shows the Jeffery rapper slapping her outside of an Atlanta nightclub. Now, it seems that the video made its way into the hands of law enforcement, as it was reported on Monday, March 6, that police are now trying to locate Thugger for questioning.

Officers actually did respond to a call about a verbal dispute in the parking lot of Palace nightclub early Sunday morning, a report obtained by TMZ confirms. Akbar V, whose given name is Valerie Raven, 27, has charged that the tiff was between herself and Young Thug's fiance Jerrika Karlae, but that at some point during the confrontation he interceded and slapped her in the face. While a number of witnesses are said to have remained to vouch for Akbar, Thug and Jerrika apparently fled prior to cops arriving.

Several women in the video can be overheard saying "he slapped her" and "she about to get paid." Meanwhile, the day after the incident, Jerrika took to social media with a live stream in which she refuted claims that Thug hit anybody, and a screenshot of her responding to a comment on the RapAlert Instagram page revealed her going into detail about how Akbar allegedly stood outside of their vehicle badgering her. "Thug didn't touch her he actually asked her nicely to move from his vehicle! And besides you so gangsta but you called the police on him knowing you was outside harassing us," Jerrika wrote.

Authorities have refrained from officially charging Young Thug with battery after reportedly seeing the video but finding no evidence that he struck his female counterpart. Still, they are asking that he come forth to give his account of what happened during the altercation.
