How Society Sees Black Educated Men

It's an open secret among African-American men and boys that people are often afraid of them. For black Americans, experiences of racial discrimination vary by education level and gender.

A majority of black adults say they have been discriminated against because of their race, but this varies by education. Roughly eight-in-ten blacks with at least some college experience (81%) say they’ve experienced racial discrimination, at least from time to time, including 17% who say this happens regularly. Among blacks with a high school education or less, these shares are lower – 69% and 9%, respectively.

As of lately, even I have been running into altercation dealing with racism. Being educated and a employer in my city has come with many challenges. I have received backlash from both Whites and Blacks.

What song would you love to hear Jennifer Lopez cover?

Jennifer Lopez does not seem to be one who makes a lot of music unless its about her life at the moment or she has a story to tell. One of the biggest compliments to an artist is when a peer shows appreciation with a song cover. For years fans have heard artists cover songs, and at times the newer version is a bigger hit than the original.

Now let picture Jennifer Lopez coving one of your favorite artist songs, who would it be?

What song would you love to hear Beyonce cover?

One of the biggest compliments to an artist is when a peer shows appreciation with a song cover. For years fans have heard artists cover songs, and at times the newer version is a bigger hit than the original. Beyoncé is no different, as she has covered a few songs throughout her career such as the Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack duet, "The Closer I Get to You" and Rose Royce's hit song "Wishing on a Star."

Cover songs can be used to display creativity of a performers work through the talent of another artist's previous production. Not to be confused with a Remix, which is defined as altering or distorting the original sound electronically; Cover Versions give a performer the ability to adapt music to their own style, typically allowing them to change the genre of a song and recreating it to their own taste.

With that being said, the Wrap-Up Magazine would like to know which artist cover song should Beyonce do and why?

Who Would Beyonce Do Verzuz Battle With?

With no disrespect to other female sings, but I think Beyonce should do her verzuz battle against herself. Many think it should be Rihanna, while others are saying Janet Jackson. But what if it was Mariah Carey or Alicia Keys.

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s Verzuz battle series has grown from a novel event bridging hip-hop’s past and present into uplifting excitement in our indoor spring and summer, joining DJ sessions by D-Nice, Questlove, and others.

Verzuz is fun, simple, and wide open — maybe a little too wide open. The audience is mostly in charge of the scoring, and there’s rarely a consensus on points. Regional bias and generational schisms creep up. Playing a deep cut almost categorically loses you the point, even if it’s one of the greatest songs of all time.

While RiRi didn’t earn her first №1 accolade until her seventh LP, Beyonce claimed that slot well before her 22nd birthday with her first solo effort, “Dangerously In Love” and also Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor.”

Gary With Da Tea felt strongly that Janet Jackson should be the one, Verzuz Battle Between BeyoncĂ© & Rihanna Would Break Record, Says Ne-Yo. But what do you think? Comment your answers below in the comment box!

Mick Jagger Joins Dave Grohl In New Song 'Eazy Sleazy'

Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl are itching for an end to the pandemic shutdowns on a new single, "Eazy Sleazy."

The optimistic and at-times satirical new track features the Rolling Stones frontman on lead vocals and rhythm guitar and the Foo Fighters frontman on everything else.

“It’s a song that I wrote about coming out of lockdown, with some much needed optimism," Jagger said in a statement. "Thanks to Dave Grohl for jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with him. [H]ope you all enjoy 'Eazy Sleazy.'”
