New Puma's Thunder For Life

Puma
Now these are some nice colorway shoes Puma has designed here. After launching a Mars-themed collab with Sneakerness not too long ago, PUMA is adding a completely new model to its popular Thunder line that’s looking pretty fly based off the first look we’re getting here.

Although the Thunder 4 Life is definitely a new silhouette, you’d be forgiven if you confused it for one of the many “chunky sole” offerings the sneaker community has been given as of late, especially from the vaults of PUMA itself. However, while not the most original silhouette, it’s for sure a nice sight nonetheless.

The multi-layered construction on the upper gives the shoe many points of interest, including hairy suede on the heel, neoprene at the toe, and leather accents on the tongue. This iteration’s Sonic The Hedgehog-esque color theme is a great finish to the overall design, and sets the shoe up for many cool colorways in the near future we hope. Here’s to more new sneakers in 2018!

Dr. Dre TV Series Rejected

Dr. Dre
Dr. Dre's TV plans hit a bump in the road. On Saturday (Sept. 22), the Wall Street Journal reported that Vital Signs, which is a semi-autobiographical drama Dre produced for Apple, was rejected by Apple CEO Tim Cook for being too violent.

Apparently Cook saw the six-episode series himself before telling Interscope Cofounder and current Apple exec Jimmy Iovine that the show featured too much violent content. In addition to gun violence, the show also includes scenes with cocaine use and at least one orgy. Neither Dre nor Cook have spoken about the show's apparent rejection.

Vital Signs was originally announced back in the winter of 2016 and it's been revealed that Michael K. Williams, Sam Rockwell and Ian McShane were stars on the show. At the time, it was reported that each episode of the series was supposed to be "focusing on a different emotion and how Dre's character deals with it."

We may not be getting to see Vital Signs, but at least more of Dre's handy work will make its way into the world soon.

Chief Keef Home Robbed

Chief Keef
Law enforcement sources say the suspects jumped over a wall at the home and threw bricks to break a window. At least one of the suspects is believed to have made it inside Chief Keef's house and made off with money.

Luckily, plainclothes police officers were near the area when the break-in occurred and were able to stop the burglary, although one suspect did fire a shot, which didn't hit anyone. Police later caught two of the suspects, while one fled in a car. The two suspects have since been booked on burglary and weapons charges.

According to Giudice's attorney, James Leonard Jr., Chief Keef's use of the image is an invasion of the reality star's privacy. The lawyer argued that Guidice should be compensated financially for the project's artwork.
