Chief Keef Falls Off Stage

Chief Keef has joined the long list of performers who at some point during their careers tumble from the stage during a show. Fortunately for Keef, his fall didn't lead to injury or even much embarrassment for that matter.

During a tour stop in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Thursday night (Feb. 23), the Chicago rapper got a little too turnt during a song and did a 360 degree tumble right off the top of a speaker in front of the stage. Lucky for Keef, a couple of quick-acting security guys helped him land gracefully on his feet. Upon landing, the 21-year-old spitter immediately began rapping and hyping up the crowd again.

Chief Keef Home Robbed

Chief Keef
Law enforcement sources say the suspects jumped over a wall at the home and threw bricks to break a window. At least one of the suspects is believed to have made it inside Chief Keef's house and made off with money.

Luckily, plainclothes police officers were near the area when the break-in occurred and were able to stop the burglary, although one suspect did fire a shot, which didn't hit anyone. Police later caught two of the suspects, while one fled in a car. The two suspects have since been booked on burglary and weapons charges.

According to Giudice's attorney, James Leonard Jr., Chief Keef's use of the image is an invasion of the reality star's privacy. The lawyer argued that Guidice should be compensated financially for the project's artwork.

Migos And Chief Keef Beef Squashed

The beef between Atlanta rap crew Migos and Chicago's Chief Keef has been drawn out for about a year now, but finally all of the tension between them has been put to rest.  While both the Migos and Keef's GBE crew have spent a lot of energy harboring negative emotions and firing off disses at one another, they managed to put all of their differences aside for the benefit of their careers.

Both Keef and the Migos members posted the same picture of them standing together, with the official Migos Twitter account captioning the image, "Miglo."  Their newfound peace was influenced greatly by Atlanta OG KK, who intervened and helped the young rappers turn what could've become a very negative situation for both sides into something positive that can they can benefit from in the long-run.  OG KK addressed their newfound peace on Twitter.

Arrest Warrant Issued For Chief Keef

TMZ reports that the Chicago rapper, born Keith Cozart, failed to show up in court to be arraigned for his DUI and weed possession case, resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest. The "I Don't Like" hit maker was busted last month by the Miami Beach Police, during a traffic stop. Cops claim he was stopped because they allegedly witnessed a weed deal between a passenger in Keef's vehicle and another car.

During a subsequent search, marijuana was found in the second vehicle. Keef allegedly told officers, "It's okay. When you find weed in my urine I'll just get my attorney to get my marijuana card." Keef was charged with felony DUI after failing a field sobriety test.

Who Was King Von?

King Von was born in the Parkway Gardens neighborhood of Chicago in 1994, and though he retreated to Atlanta to find peace and escape his hometown, his trouble with the law never truly escaped him. Many of his most popular songs paid tribute to Chicago; he was best known as a chronicler of street life, building narratives of tense nights on the streets and his desire to escape the gangster's mentality.

New Celebrity Portraits With Emojis

Yung Jake is a man of many trades. The pseudonymous rapper, new media artist, and CalArts alum first made waves in 2013 with an interactive HTML5 video that was featured at Sundance. In 2014, he had his first solo show at Steve Turner Contemporary in Los Angeles (see Meet Yung Jake Rapper and New Media Art Sensation). Now, he has created what was probably inevitable: celebrity portraits composed of emojis.

The Creators Project reports that Jake uses an emoji paintbrush tool called emoji.ink (don’t worry, we didn’t know that existed either) to craft the portraits, which so far include Larry David, Wiz Khalifa, Chief Keef, and yes, Kim Kardashian. #BreakTheInternet, indeed.

On his Twitter page, Jake is posting the works and asking followers who he should emojify next. We nominate Miley Cyrus because she’s colorful and it will give him a chance to employ some of the lesser-used fruits, candies, and animals. We’d also happily settle for Lady Gaga as well.
