Nick Gordon is once again in trouble with the law. On Saturday, Gordon, 29, was arrested on a domestic violence charge in Sanford, Florida.
According to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, he’s charged with battery-touch or strike and has posted $500.00 bond.
Gordon told police, per The Blast, that his girlfriend, Laura Leal, attacked him by throwing a bottle and tearing his shirt.
Leal, on the other hand, claims he struck her on the right side of the face multiple times while driving him home from a local bar. He also reportedly wanted to crash the car she was driving.
Despite visible marks, Leal refused to press charges.
In June 2017, Gordon was arrested on similar battery charges after Leal accused him of assaulting her and refusing to let her leave his home.
The charges were eventually dropped when Leal “became unhappy with the criminal justice process.”
Despite quietly working as a landscaper over the last few months, Gordon’s name bubbled up after Bobby Brown made bold statements wishing rape on him.
Gordon dated Brown and Whitney Houston’s only child, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Bobbi Kristina was found face down in a bathtub in January 2015. She remained in a coma until her death six months later. She was 22.
As a result, Gordon was found responsible for her death in a 2016 wrongful death suit in which he must pay $36 million.
Gordon is due in court on April 6.
