The Biggie Smalls Sculpture

Thursday, March 9th, will mark 20 years since The Notorious B.I.G. was murdered in a case that still remains unsolved. One institution that is helping to ensure his memory lives on is CUNY school Medgar Evers College.

The school, located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and named after slain black civil rights activist Medgar Wiley Evers, recently unveiled a large sculpture of Biggie's head which will be on display in the library.

Junior M.A.F.I.A. rapper Nino Brown reacted to the unveiling, as he posted a photo on Instagram with the caption, "Just got tagged in this pic..This Biggie sculpture is in the library at #MedgarEversCollege perfect timing.."
