Deputy John Braman of Volusia County was caught by his own bodycam taking $200 out of a suspect's wallet during a recent DUI arrest. It turns out this wasn't Braman's first instance of sticky fingers, as the deputy was already under investigation by his department for allegedly turning off his bodycam earlier this month and stealing money out of multiple people's wallets.
"This organization has received several complaints that Deputy Braman during car stops in which he arrested the operator of the vehicle for DUI charges was stealing money from their wallets while he was processing those prisoners," said the county Sheriff.
