Switching Up The Game

(The Wrap-Up Magazine) It seems the music industry changes every time you think you have figured things out. Hip-Hop is all about making money and letting other know who you are. Now the gay community is knocking at the door and the world opens their arms widely and accepts them.

Many people ask if Hip-Hop going into a more corrupted state, but I think not. We here at TWUM believe that Hip-Hop is just turning another chapter in the music industry in hopes of a brighter future.

Not only has the gay community taken over the rap game, white rappers are more on the rise also. Iggy Azalea is mostly likey to win the Best Rap Album at this years Grammys. Tupac has always stood out in the rap game because of his ability to be poetic while being a gangster rapper at the same time.

People dont think of gangs/violence when they hear "rap" anymore. They think of fake music full of materialism. which could be a good thing instead of music resulting to violence. Remember many old-school rappers like Spoony G, Kool Moe D, Just-Ice and even MC Lyte and Queen Latifah all at one point rapped about material possessions (gold instead of Ice)and their sexual prowess. I just think it was done in a more tastefull manner.
